6 Steps to Creating Your Book
Whether you live in the Middle East, Tokyo, North America, or somewhere on a boat (assuming you have wifi), we can start by having a casual chat about your story and what you have in mind.
Your children's book can also be in any language- Arabic, English or even German; it really doesn't matter!
1. Target Audience & Creative Details
Let's dive into creativity together!
Are we crafting a colourful, easy read for babies?
A book targeted at more serious teen issues-- or perhaps exploring a heartwarming mother-daughter dynamic? The subjects are endless!
Are the main characters animals, humans, or monsters?
Does our story unfold underwater, in a classroom, or in a magical forest somewhere?
We will discuss all these fun details to ensure our visions align perfectly!
2. Pricing
The price for one illustration per single page of text is typically 150 Canadian Dollars.
This depends on complexity, details, style, whether there is a background or not, and the number of characters involved.
We can customize the illustrations to any budget you may have.
Once I've sent you the sketches, you get 1 round of free editing per page.
If additional edits are still needed after our first round, I charge 10 Canadian Dollars per edit.
3. Our Names & Contact Info
The title of your book, along with both our names will be on the front cover.
Both our names will be on the cover.
My name will be typed out in English regardless of the language of the book.
Also, both our names, along with our contact information, will be on the back cover. This can include websites, social media handles, emails, or phone numbers.
4. You're interested in working with me, now what?
1. Initial Chat
We’ll set up a quick call to introduce ourselves and discuss your ideas for your book.
I’ll answer any questions you have and guide you through the process.
2. NDA Signing
If we then decide to move forward, I’ll send you a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to sign, ensuring your manuscript remains confidential.
3. Manuscript and Contract Submission
You will then send me your manuscript for review, and I’ll provide a contract for you to review and sign.
4. Payment
A 50% down payment to secure and start the project is required at this stage.
After the payment has been received, I’ll get started on bringing your book to life!
5. Delivery Process
1. Sketches
We start with a sketch of your story's main character, guided by our discussion about your vision.
Once you approve the character design, I’ll proceed to sketch the entire book and share it with you for feedback.
During this stage, you can request edits and feedback, and once approved, I’ll finalize the pages with colours and details.
2. Finals
Once approved, the remaining 50% of the payment is to be sent, and then I will promptly deliver the high-quality, print-ready final files of your book.

6. Timeframe
Typically, the complete book would be delivered within 4-6 weeks.
Your book will then be ready to share with the world, and you will be on the path to becoming a published author!
